The Rolling Sculpture Car Show, which began in 1994, has grown into an event that features more than 600 exotic, antique, classic and one-of-a-kind cars staged in downtown Ann Arbor, MI. It's a truly beautiful setting!
The very first year we entered (2013), just before the winners were to be announced, the judges came over and explained to us that each year they give out 10 awards. In their 19 year history, no one had ever been given 2!
The Short Bus had been awarded 3! They awarded us the "Excellence in Design" & "The Mechanics Dream" awards.
What about the 3rd? Well, someone had complained, so the judges wouldn't allow it!
Surreal, overwhelming and very cool at the same time! This is a very prestigious show, so we were thrilled!
